Arogyadhara is a health help line to musicians who have striven for music and are in need of support for health. Carried out through a network of medical specialists and hospitals who have offered their services for the cause and the financial support extended by the Arogyadhara Fund as decided by a committee meant for the purpose. Attempts have been on to raise funds and strengthen the scheme.

Arogyadhara issues identity cards to musicans on application and thereby entitles them to the fees concession from specialists. So far several musicians have benefited from this facility. Besides free consultancy, a considerable rebate is offered on treatment as well as hospital expenses, if any. The scheme provides financial assistance for such treatments, the extent of such assistance is decided by the committee on the merits of the case. A large group of doctors, with specialization in various fields, have voluntarily enlisted themselves under this scheme.

In order for this cause to benefit the maximum number of artists, it is important that we have a healthy corpus of funds.
