Awards - recognition of senior musicians and encouragement, to promising artistes through annual awards "Ananya Puraskar" that includes a citation, a purse of Rs. 10000/- and a memento; "Ananya Yuva Puraskar" for young artistes, "Ananya Kalabhijna", for achievers in light music, "Ananya Kalavidaru" - a district level award for classical musicians, "Shastra Kausthuba" - to musicologists, Ananya Pratibhe - for talented, budding artistes, winners of annual concert competitions, Kalakausthuba - a life-time achievement award instituted in association with NRI Scientists.

A total of ten awards are given away each year. The awards are increasingly catching the attention of the public and are much coveted in the music field. For the past eight years more than eighty artistes have been honoured.
