• GML has a vast clientele throughout the country and abroad. Its customers range from small industrial units to large scale public sector industries and defense establishments.
• GML has most sophisticated, state of the art equipment for evaluation of materials for chemical composition, mechanical properties, metallurgical structures, environmental studies, and testing of civil engineering materials.
• GML is accredited by NABL (National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories) and Defence Establishments. NABL is the highest body in India for certification of Laboratories.
• As a contribution to the welfare of music, GML has also been funding the activities of Ananya, the cultural wing of GML.
